i never really played the Halowars demo, but i own Halowars on my Xbox 360. But take a look at this video for the Halowars Demo - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lvLXCalUxa0

 

This looks wayyy better than the halowars i own... Can i know why? The Halowars i own is my favorite strategy game, but this version looks even better. 

 I'm pretty sure that old demo would have discouraged a lot of players. It seemed time consuming.

I just read the Dev blog... But it would've been cool if it was similar to Age of Empires in some ways.

It was scripted and it wasn't fun. That's why they changed it.
