 If you look closely at the first screenshot..you know..the one with the scarab and the marines running towards it.

On the ground in the middle you can CLEARLY see an elite holding not ONE but TWO SWORDS!!!

 is this a spoiler of the fact of being able to dual weild swords in halo 3???

Why else could it be there?!?

Why do people keep insisting HW and H3 will be related? Two different games, yes same universe (obviously) but one will not affect the other.

Why would you need two? Other than the fact that it looks cool.

seeing as how NEVER in any halo screenshot or game has there been any evidence of dual weilding swords...

Look people i;m not advocating the implementation of dual swords in halo3!!

all im saying is...its freakin there! right in front of you.  personally i think its gay but im just in shock that im actually seeing a picture of it,.

I'm thinking that dual swords will be a commander class of elites, because the covenant view the sword as a symbol of rank and status in their army.

I personally dont think that this is any type of spoiler for Halo 3.  I would also be very upset if they did indeed have dual wield swords for Halo 3.  I hope they get dual wielding out of the Halo series all together.

Back to topic though, I guess we just need to wait for some more information from Esemble on the matter.

another topic from me...well anyways heres something else about the game being before halo 1: if there are swords in this and its BEFORE halo 1...how come they are introduced in halo 2 and not in halo 1

They were in some of the H1 cutscenes. Just not playable.

Elites carried Energy swords in Halo 1 but you couldn't use them.
